Carla Adams of  Ancestralriver.com. is a biofield practitioner, not a Certified Biofield Tuning Practitioner.  Ancestralriver.com and Carla Adams do not represent Biofield Tuning or Eileen McKusick.  Further, Carla Adams. is not a licensed or certified physician, psychologist or counselor of any kind, her knowledge or use of tuning forks, positive intentions and diaphragmatic breathing is from personal experience, and her work in the biofield with tuning forks, combined with intentions and breathing techniques, is not intended as medical advice or treatment, but rather for a feeling or sense of over-all well-being.  Neither the United States, nor the individual State in which Carla Adams lives, require a license, certification, or registration for tuning fork practitioners at this time.

Therefore, modalities used as part of the Ancestral River sessions should not be relied upon as health, medical, psychological, or any other professional advice or guidance of any type.
                   
Sound waves from tuning forks activated in the human biofield as energy medicine, are thought to locate and assess areas in the light waves of the body where the light wave frequencies are incoherent or dissonant, and then correct the flow of these energies by helping to balance the body’s energies to increase wellness. The theory of energy medicine methods is that the flow and balance of the body’s electromagnetic and subtle energies are important for all areas of a body’s well-being, and for increasing overall well-being, especially when combined with positive intentions, and specific breathing techniques.
                   
Carla Adams is not “diagnosing” or “treating” the physical body, which is the domain of medical and healthcare professionals, but rather, is connecting to the energy  aspects of the client that make it possible to bring about change, which is then noticed or felt by the client. You understand there is a distinction between “healing” using tuning forks, positive intentions, and specific breathing techniques, and the practice of medicine or any other licensed health care practice.
                   
Although the use of tuning forks, intention, and breathing seems to have emotional, spiritual, and physical health benefits, it has yet to be fully researched by many academic, medical, and psychological communities. Therefore, the use of tuning forks combined with intention and breathing techniques is still considered experimental and the extent of its helpfulness or its risks is not fully known. Energy medicine methods like these are considered “alternative” or “complementary” to the healing arts as typically licensed in the United States, so are only self-regulated.  

Energy medicine is a broad term that refers to a number of various energy techniques, processes, and methods based on the use, modification, and manipulation of energy fields that look at imbalances within an individual’s energy system as well as the energetic influence of thoughts, beliefs, and emotions on the body.

Everyone is different and will have a unique experience to an energy session.  Most people who receive tuning fork sessions report feeling clearer, calmer, more relaxed, and more self-aware.  Sometimes clients will experience a detox, which can vary greatly.  Some clients have reported:
•Feeling very exhausted and tired, needing to sleep or lay low for a day or more; generally, this happens with people who have been ‘running on empty’.
•Feeling very emotional or being very aware of formerly masked or buried emotions – crying a lot, or being very angry.
•Headaches and/or dizziness.
•In very rare instances: skin rashes, mucus, fevers, vomiting, loose stools, excessive thirst
Generally, these symptoms are detoxification and pass within a day or two, but if a condition persists, it is important to see your energy practitioner again – sooner rather than later.  Sometimes people need a little extra help to unwind and complete the adjustments.

You acknowledge that by purchasing and listening to biofield sessions, whether one-on-one or recorded, you grant Carla Adams permission to use hands-on touch and the application of weighted forks and a crystal to my body or to my hologram. Further, you are aware that you may verbally revoke this permission at any time before, during, or after a session, by no longer listening to or participating in a session.  

You acknowledge that by purchasing and participating in one-on-one sessions, you give Carla Adams permission to share information about your physical or biofield case in a database exclusive to biofield practitioners for educational and research purposes. (Example: if biofield sessions resolved your ailment, the process, protocol, and outcome would be shared with other biofield practitioners for their reference). Your identity and personal information will remain anonymous and confidential at all times.

Carla Adams and ancestralriver.com retain all rights to the intellectual property, copyrights and logos, content, materials and products contained on the website and emails and products. Vistors and customers of the website are not granted any such rights.

You recognize and agree that by uploading any content (including, but not limited to designs, images, animations, videos, audio files, fonts, logos, illustrations, compositions, artworks, interfaces, text and literary works) through any means to the website or social media channels, you confirm that you own all the relevant rights or received the appropriate license to upload/transfer/send the content. You agree and consent that the uploaded/transferred content may be publicly displayed at the website.

We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend your access to the service without notice and liability for any reason, including if in our sole determination you violate any provision of these Terms or any applicable law or regulations. You may discontinue use and request to cancel your account and/or any services at any time by contacting carla@ancestralriver.com. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the foregoing, with respect to automatically-renewed subscriptions to paid services, such subscriptions will be discontinued only upon the expiration of the respective period for which you have already made payment

You agree to indemnify and hold Carla Adams and AncestralRiver.com harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), made against them by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the website or any of the services offered on the website.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Carla Adams and AncestralRiver.com, be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the service.

If at ant time AncestralRiver.com includes a user community, all users that join a community must have a public profile that is publicly visible to site visitors, by which all user public activity (such as posts or comments) will be visible to other visitors of the website.

A user of AncestralRiver.com can always opt-out and exit the community, and upon doing so, such user’s profile will not be publicly visible. Naturally, in such event the user will not be able to use the community features (e.g. liking, commenting or writing posts).
